Bitch’s from different clubs can have same registered name,and if it is your Pedigree how did the breeder in cheshire get it?

I have just been given a ‘pedigree’ certificate issued by the DLRC for a friends cocker. I was amazed to read that a cocker bitch I own is the mother! She isnt. She is neutered. She is KC registered and a breeder in Cheshire has registered a dog with the same name ans same ancestry with the DLRC. The parents, grandparents, gt grandparents all bear the same name as my bitch. IT IS A FAKE, the breeder has used the DLRC to create a ficticious pedigree for a cocker spaniel. Why, I ask, couldnt the DLRC and KC talk to each other to prevent such scams, a simple Google check by DLRC would have revealed the fraud? I am left wondering how complicit the DLRC are in this subterfuge?

I just adobted a shitzu mix. Appearantly she whas neglected prior to being rescued. The SPCA said she was almost bold when they got her. Her hair is just starting to grow back. She was loaded with fleas and the vet said she pulled, bit and scratched her own hair out. Sad, Sad…. My question is, with proper care how long will it take for her to get a healthy coat of hair back? I pick her up this Friday and I want to give her the best home ever. Poor baby…she is only three years old and weight is approx six pounds.
