Following on from my earlier article wondering about living with an elderly dog, of course he’s bound to take up more of your time as he grows older.
It’s unfortunate but not everybody has the time to look after an elderly dog, especially if ill health is a factor but that doesn’t mean that it’s right to put the dog down or to abandon the dog at a shelter where he is unlikely to be adopted.
