Dogs Have No Sense of Time

ratAccording to recent research from the University of Western Ontario published in the journal Science earlier this month, rats can understand how much time has passed since they had cheese but they can’t place memories of when the discovery actually happened, i.e. they don’t place the memories in time.

Dog owners often find that their dogs are just as happy to see them whether five minutes has passed or five hours since they last saw them.  Science Daily expressed the thought that this new research may go some way towards answering that question.  You can read more details on the research here
