Firefighter Gives CPR To Dog
A firefighter in America, Stephen Odom, saved the life of a dog last Friday when he was called out to a mobile home fire. The fireman rescued two terrier dogs from a smoking bedroom but unfortunately, one of the dogs wasn’t breathing when he lay him on the ground outside the home.
At first, Odom placed his oxygen mask over the dogs face but that didn’t seem to be working, so Odom cupped his hands around the dog’s snout and breathed until he could feel the dog’s chest expand. He then performed CPR as you would on a child. After about a minute, the dog was trying to breathe on his own.
Five minutes later, the dog was reunited with his owner Linda Lewis. They even left him an oxygen tank!
