North Clwyd Animal Rescue charity

Where I live, I’m not too far from the North Clwyd Animal Rescue (NCAR), which takes in all sorts of animals including rabbits, guinea pigs, cats and more but as you might imagine more often than not, they take in dogs.

To say that a dog is man’s best friend, we don’t half seem to neglect them!

Last year, the charity took in almost 700 dogs and one little Bull Terrier, Alfie, finally found a new home after a huge four years at the rescue centre.

Charities like this deserve our support and for just £5 per month I’ve discovered you can even adopt a kennel.  Your name is displayed over the kennel, you get the newsletter and updates of the dogs who stay in your kennel.

The charity do a lot of fundraising events like Easter Days, fun shows and race nights and details can be found on the website.
