Tougher treatment for dog owners
How much tougher should we be on those who neglect their dogs or neglect our streets?
In recent articles, we’ve talked about how a DNA dog database is being put together in Germany to identify dogs and how wardens are getting tough on those who allow their dogs to dirty our streets and don’t clean up after them.
Even as a responsible dog owner, I feel like all eyes are upon me as soon as my dog starts to do its business, to see if I get that all important dog bag out – which of course I do, but it seems we aren’t tough enough on those who neglect their dogs.
