What Will Life Be Like When Your Dog Grows Old?

old dogMy dog turned four years old yesterday (happy birthday B!) and you can’t help but spend a moment wondering and maybe dreading the years when I imagine she will be too old to enjoy life to the full and will need so much more care and attention. (Not that she isn’t spoilt already!) Although I dread the day, I would never consider rehoming her because of her age, she’s a member of my family and in many ways, the closest member.

I found a delightful post earlier about living with an old dog, which should remind us all that even when they’re stinky, deaf and become unimaginably more stubborn, there are still delights of living with an old dog and you can teach an old dog new tricks.
